Just in Time for Treasure
For my project I decided to choose a topic I’ve always be intrigued by, treasure hunting. I took inspiration from Treasure Island, one of my favorite books. I wanted the viewer to be thrust into a journey and start with a crew already on a hunt. Since the topic that we needed to base our story around was time travel, I made the treasure they were looking for something that could be used in time travel. The answers that the player is looking for get explained throughout the story by different characters.
What I was most proud of was the transition the cave takes after the player takes the key. The cave goes from deathly and ominous to almost hell-like. I tried to make it like a jump scare.
